About Us
David - Director
Wright Accountancy was formed in 2013 by David Wright to provide an accounting and advisory service tailored to meet the needs of each client. David is proud to be a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. David has lived in Norfolk for over 40 years and has spent over 20 years working as an accountant in general practice.
Prior to founding Wright Accountancy, David worked in a variety of roles within local accountancy practices and developed expertise in delivering assurance services as well as supporting business owners and charity Trustees in preparing and reviewing management information to make well-informed strategic decisions.
David now brings this breadth of experience gained while working within a larger organisations to the small practice market. He prides himself on building positive relationships with his clients and providing the same quality of service to all irrespective of the size of the job.
Away from accountancy, David is married with a son and enjoys spending family time walking the family dog ‘Waffle’, playing board games, and following a range of sports.
Catherine – Practice Administrator & Accounts Assistant
Catherine (David’s wife) plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of Wright Accountancy. With more than 20 years of experience in her previous career in the education sector, she brings extensive expertise in budgeting, financial management, human resources, data protection, and project coordination. Her excellent organisational and communication skills help to ensure that you are supported and well informed.
Currently AAT part-qualified and working towards full AAT accreditation, Catherine combines strong technical knowledge with a warm and professional manner. Whether assisting with day-to-day queries or financial matters, she is always available to provide support.
